Isrotel Hotel Chain
The Isrotel hotel chain, owned by the Lewis Group and founded by the late David Lewis from England, launched its Israeli operations in July 1984 with the opening of King Solomon’s Palace in Eilat. This hotel was later renamed the Isrotel King Solomon.
The beginning of Isrotel’s activities in Eilat served as a catalyst for the city’s development in the years that followed. Eilat gradually grew in significance on the map of Israeli and international tourism, and today it is firmly established as the preferred vacation destination for Israelis, while also attracting many visitors from around the world.
The Isrotel hotel chain currently leads the Israeli tourism industry, managing and wholly or partly owning 17 hotels throughout the country – 4,000 rooms; including the 5 well-known exclusive hotels: Royal Beach Eilat, Beresheet on the edge of the Ramon Crater, Cramim Spa Hotel in the Jerusalem Hills, Royal Beach Tel Aviv and the Carmel Forest Spa Resort.
